As can be seen in this collection of photos, I was solely involved in a 4 week job that resulted in the stationed Shipwright at Point Piper Marina brought to tears. Although torn, he was still a little awed by my work. This lovely vessel had suffered years of exposure and had a terrible wood rot problem. I was brought in as a last resort to bring back some dignity in its final years. Many layers of preparation were required to reach the paint finish of 2 extinct species of tree. The finish also had to be varnished with the rest of the boat and leave a blended finish matching the original. Tricky, but as you can see, hard to spot.
