I am still trying to source some photos of my 3 months working as a stucco renderer at the Sydney Casino. Tinted Italian stuccos were applied with very thin flexible blades and then followed up with numerous layers (at least 2) of wax. This leaves a beautiful effect that imitates the appearance of cut and highly polished stone like granite. The best example of the advanced version of this work can be seen in the Commonwealth Bank Building in the heart of Sydney's CBD at Martin Place.
I have been involved in numerous waxed stucco jobs all over Sydney for private and public clients. Although expensive and time consuming, the finish says it all. Pure elegance.
